The Braves DFA’d Hayden Harris Wednesday to make space on the 40-man roster to bring up repeat DFA victim Eliesar Hernandez. Harris was once viewed as an extremely promising bullpen prospect for Atlanta, with outrageous strikeout rates in the minors due to a unique fastball shape. He had a rough couple of innings in the majors in 2025 and really lost his command in 2026 in the minors. It’s a bummer for those of us hoping for an electric homegrown bullpen arm from Harris, but perhaps not the end of the road for him.
