Horticulture department officers have invited applications from young and interested farmers for subsidies on various horticultural crops under the National Horticulture Mission scheme for the year 2026-27.
Published - September 11, 2026 08:48 pm ISTInterested farmers may apply by visiting the office of the Senior Assistant Director of Horticulture (Zilla Panchayat), Savadatti, before September 28. These include subsidies for hydroponics, tissue-culture banana, papaya, aromatic plant saplings, bulbous flowers, low-cost onion storage units, and plastic mulching.
Also available are facilities under Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana for solar pump sets, farm-gate units, horticultural produce collection centres, and low-cost fruit ripening units, and the oil palm area expansion programme under the Centrally sponsored National Edible Oil Mission-Oil Palm scheme, said a release.
