Addressing the State office-bearers’ meeting in Guntur on Friday, party State president P.V.N. Madhav said the BJP should work towards strengthening the “double-engine government and triple-engine growth” model by taking welfare and development programmes to the people.
He said the Seva Sankalpa Abhiyan, scheduled from September 15 to October 17, should involve every party worker and cover about 46,000 booths across the State. Workers should participate in at least two service activities, including cleaning water bodies and improving local surroundings, he said.
BJP national co-organisation general secretary Shiv Prakash stressed coordination among party leaders, NDA partners and government representatives, with particular emphasis on preparations for local body elections.
Mr. Madhav said the NDA would contest the local body elections in coordination and called for efforts to consolidate the mandate received in 2024.
Legislative Council Floor leader Somu Veerraju said purposeful work would produce results and urged leaders to take the Centre’s development achievements to the people.
Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav and several MPs, MLAs, MLCs and senior party leaders attended the meeting.
