Paige Bueckers and Angel Reese were bantering in a Team USA video, and the Dallas star claimed Reese is the league’s biggest talker.
Angel Reese truly came into the national limelight after the 2023 NCAA Championship Game, when she taunted Caitlin Clark by pointing to her ring finger as the LSU Tigers closed in on the title.
She has famously been a star that doesn’t necessarily stay quiet, and as such, gained a bit of a reputation for trash-talking her opponents.
And for those that still doubted this is the case, WNBA superstar Paige Bueckers confirmed it in one of the latest Team USA videos, too.

Bueckers and Reese have now faced off against one another multiple times in the WNBA. And in one of their meetings, the two ended up squaring off a bit.
Bueckers recalled that moment while hilariously taking another dig at Reese as she called the Atlanta Dream star one of the league’s biggest trash-talkers.
“Angel Reese, Angel Reese, Angel Reese,” Paige hilariously replied when asked the question. “I retaliate. I do it out of self defense,” Bueckers said when Reese accused her of doing the same.
“Like that one time, you tried to post me up and I stood my ground. I said, I’m right here.” When Reese pointed out that the play was called a foul, Bueckers quickly replied, “Cuz you got a special whistle.”
It’s quite evident that the W’s two young superstars actually get along quite well. And as their battles continue, they are sure to be even more entertaining in the future.
