Saif Ali Khan says doing Humshakals and Cocktail was a mistake.Saif Ali Khan has been entertaining the audience for the past three decades, and during this tenure, the actor has done numerous films, but recently, in an interview with Gulf News, he opened up about why he played the male lead in the film, Cocktail (2012) alongside (Veronica) and (Meera).
The actor said that he knew the character of Gautam in was not right for him. Saif said he took up the male lead part because he was producing the film and wanted to ensure it got made. Apart from this, years later, he also admitted that he felt miscast in ‘s Humshakals, saying he could not match the kind of comic performance the film demanded.
