Wizz Financial on Friday unveiled a multi-service financial app at Global Fintech Fest 2026 in Mumbai, positioning itself as a unified platform for cross-border payments, remittances and foreign exchange across India, the US and the UAE.

The app consolidates services, including inward and outward remittances, multi-currency prepaid cards, UPI access for international users, lending, bill payments and travel services. A core component is Switch — the company’s proprietary interoperability infrastructure, which connects its wallets and applications across three countries and links to participating third-party platforms. The system supports cross-border payouts to more than 80 countries.

Cashless payments

A notable feature allows eligible international visitors to use the app for cashless UPI payments within India under the UPI One World framework, subject to regulatory requirements and prescribed limits. Non-resident users in the US and UAE can also transfer funds into Indian UPI accounts in real time.

Wizz Financial currently serves over five million customers through more than 360 branches across 22 States. The company describes its model as hybrid, combining physical branch infrastructure with digital delivery.

Founder and Group CEO Amir Nagammy said the platform was designed to extend UPI’s reach beyond India’s borders. India CEO Krishnan R said the app was intended to give customers a simpler way to manage their financial needs by integrating the company’s branch network with its digital capabilities.

The launch marks a step in Wizz Financial’s broader strategy to connect customers across major global economic corridors.
