The Iranians appear to be the puppet master behind the targeting of Joe.
The episode also featured a grisly moment of Joe being tortured by the main Iranian captor. It was an incredibly uneasy scene to watch, but absolutely necessary for setting the stakes of what could be awaiting Joe if her team can't successfully rescue her.
Well, the popular actress took to Instagram to shine a light on some from the torture scene and lighten the mood a bit.
"Episode 6 was a real challenge," Saldaña wrote on one of the posts.
