The deft hands of handloom weaver V. Hari Prasad of Sircilla in Rajanna Sircilla district have once again created a unique sari, exemplifying exquisite craftsmanship seamlessly blended with devotion.Blending artistic skill with reverence, Mr. Hari Prasad has woven a seven-metre-long sari featuring intricate images of Goddess Sri Vasavi Kanyaka Parameswari, turning the traditional fabric into a striking canvas of artistic expression and devotion.
Woven entirely with silk threads and incorporating two grams of gold zari, the sari took him 45 days to complete. It bears the names of 102 sages and an equal number of gotranamas, besides 25 historic depictions highlighting the life and legacy of Sri Vasavi Kanyaka Parameswari, Mr. Hari Prasad said.
“It took me nearly one-and-a-half months to complete the work with utmost reverence,” he said, adding that the order was placed by Rathnakumari and Koteshwara Rao, a couple from Guntur in Andhra Pradesh.
